During NAIDOC Week 2018, the theme was ‘Because of Her, We Can’.
The year 5 students at Jerrabomberra Public School investigated the important role of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women in their culture. They researched and talked about significant women in history that have paved the way for future generations. Together they created this artwork exploring the importance of women in the family and community.
